Details for Wamego Meet

Some reminders and details before Tuesday's meet:

• Students will be dismissed from class at 2:35 with a departure from EMS at 2:50. Runners will need to change into their uniform and be sure they have their water bottle and running shoes. 
• They will take everything with them on the bus. We will not re-enter the school when we return.
• The meet location is: Wamego Middle School - 1701 Kaw Valley Rd - Wamego, KS 66547
• The meet begins at 4:00 with each race starting directly after the conclusion of the previous race in this order - 7th girls, 7th boys, 8th girls, 8th boys
• There will be awards after the meet - all runners are expected to stay through the end of the awards
• Parents CAN take their runners home following the meet and awards - there will be a sign out page that parents must sign if they are taking their runner home. Only those people who are emergency contacts in IC are allowed to take runners home.
• If your runner is riding the bus back to EMS, we will arrive at approx. 6:45 but we will have runners communicate with you when we leave the meet so you know when to meet the bus back at school.
